Principal Technical Pre-Sales Architect (AWS)

What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy for strategic AWS co-sell pursuits across EMEA.
• Partner with Alliance Sales, AWS Solutions Architects, and client engineering teams on technical deep-dives and competitive opportunities.
• Design reusable AWS reference architectures and contribute patterns to AWS Partner Central.
• Scope and lead proof-of-concept initiatives that can be converted into production systems.
• Build technical relationships with AWS Solutions Architects, Specialist SAs, and ProServe teams.
• Advise alliance and client leadership on AWS architecture strategy, priority services, and technical standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting.
• Deep hands-on AWS expertise and a track record of delivered projects.
• Experience leading demos and proof-of-concept work that supports competitive pursuits.
• Strong command of enterprise architecture patterns and their practical application.
• Experience in a global systems integrator, agency, or professional services environment.
• Individual contributor profile with senior client-facing credibility and the ability to mentor delivery teams.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional and specialty certifications in areas such as machine learning or data analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and generative AI implementations.
• Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud and advertising technology.
• Prior AWS partner-company or direct AWS experience.
• Experience supporting AWS co-sell motions and familiarity with vertical compliance.
