Procurement Specialist (Defense Technology)

What you will do

• Source materials, components, and services for engineering, manufacturing, and operational programs.
• Create and manage purchase orders, supplier communications, and procurement tracking systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams on production schedules and material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Support vendor onboarding, quote requests, pricing comparisons, inventory coordination, and material planning.
• Maintain purchasing records and resolve procurement or supply chain issues affecting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience with purchasing systems, spreadsheets, or ERP platforms.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; the role may involve access to technology regulated under U.S. export control laws without export-license sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or hardware development programs.
• Familiarity with technical purchasing, hardware procurement, inventory management, and material planning.
• Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and production schedules.
• Startup or rapid-development environment experience.
