Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and debug scalable full-stack web applications across backend and frontend systems.
• Develop data pipelines that transform incoming data into Kafka streams and KeyLife Indicators.
• Design and implement reusable code, libraries, RESTful APIs, and application features.
• Configure environments, monitor system health, optimize performance, and support production systems.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and cross-functional feature planning.
• Respond to on-call incidents, resolve critical disruptions, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.
• At least 8 years of related software development experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience with Kotlin or Java and proven full-stack development experience.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, SQL, NoSQL databases, caching, and automated testing.
• Experience monitoring and supporting production systems, optimizing performance, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SaaS products in the technology or financial industries.
• Experience with Maven, Kotlin, Vue.js, OpenTelemetry, AWS, and Kubernetes.
