Fund Revenue Controller - Associate / Assistant Vice President (Alternative Investments): Perform revenue calculations, controls, and reporting for technology solutions, alternative investments, and structured investments with an accent on month-end close, variance analysis, and process automation. Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Work in the office 3 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 2 days.

What you will do
- Perform revenue calculations, controls, and variance analyses for various product lines including technology solutions, alternative investments, and structured investments.
- Handle month-end close processes, including P&L and balance sheet consolidations, journal entries, cash reconciliations, and roll-forwards.
- Review legal agreements, book revenue cash and estimates, assist with fund invoicing and passthrough payments.
- Support revenue tracking, processing, booking, and reporting across differing billing cycles and external data sources.
- Enhance efficiency through automation of revenue calculations and invoicing, develop reporting for business units, identify process gaps, and implement internal controls.
Requirements
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of booking journal entries and their impact on financial statements
- Degree in Accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize, communicate with senior leadership, and coordinate across teams
Nice to have
- Understanding of GAAP reporting
- Experience with alternative or structured investments
- Fund accounting experience
- Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, PeopleSoft, Axiom, or other General Ledger systems
- Ability to manage large data sets, interpret legal/fund documents, and handle new assignments
