Senior Communications Manager (US)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with three days a week in the office.

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 base salary per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s external communications and reputation management in the US market.
• Shape communications strategy and the company’s external narrative.
• Manage media relations, executive visibility, announcements, and crisis communications.
• Build trusted relationships with journalists and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Government Relations, Marketing, Operations, and the wider Communications team on positions and messaging.
• Monitor media coverage and industry conversations to identify opportunities and risks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in external communications, reputation management, media relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
• Track record of developing impactful communications strategies.
• Ability to explain complex technological, political, and business topics through clear messaging.
• Experience working with US media and journalists and building trusted relationships.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology, cloud, AI, SaaS, or scale-up environments.
• Experience supporting executive communications and leadership communications.
• Experience with media training and spokesperson preparation.
• Experience managing crisis or issues communications.
