Senior Finance Lead (Fintech)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the Credit Card business unit P&L, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for executive and board materials.
• Act as the embedded finance partner for Credit Card product, credit/risk, and marketing leadership.
• Build and maintain unit economics models covering CAC, LTV, contribution margin, portfolio yield, delinquency, and loss curves.
• Lead annual planning and quarterly re-forecasting, making assumptions and resource tradeoffs explicit.
• Evaluate pricing, acquisition, credit line, and portfolio strategy initiatives with data-backed business cases.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows, dashboards, and automated reporting to improve decision-ready financial analysis.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, business operations, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience owning a P&L or business unit financial narrative and engaging directly with executive leadership.
• Strong unit economics and financial modeling skills; lending, credit card, or consumer finance experience is strongly preferred.
• Comfort with SQL and hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to influence product, credit/risk, and marketing leaders, structure ambiguous problems, and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executive and board-level audiences.
