TL;DR
DFT Engineer (AI Infrastructure): Developing design-for-testability architectures and production test patterns for complex semiconductor chips powering scalable AI connectivity with an accent on JTAG/iJTAG, MBIST, Scan, ATPG, and test coverage. Focus on optimizing DFT flows, validating timing through STA and gate-level simulation, automating methodologies, and supporting silicon bring-up and production.

What you will do

  • Define DFT architecture and strategy across RTL design, backend implementation, production, and post-silicon support.
  • Design and implement JTAG/iJTAG, MBIST, Scan, and ATPG architectures for high-end connectivity devices.
  • Generate and optimize production test and debug patterns while driving test coverage and quality metrics.
  • Perform Static Timing Analysis for DFT modes and conduct gate-level simulations.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Verification, and Backend teams to improve integration and quality of results.
  • Develop, maintain, automate, and improve DFT implementation flows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on DFT experience at semiconductor companies.
  • Experience with DFT flows and architectures including JTAG/iJTAG, MBIST, Scan, and ATPG.
  • Understanding of logic design, verification, debugging, and Static Timing Analysis.
  • Scripting proficiency in Tcl, Perl, Python, or Shell.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Synopsys TestMAX or Siemens Tessent.
  • Experience with chip bring-up and mass production.
  • Background in advanced process technologies, including 7nm and below.
  • Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, or UALink test requirements and experience working in global teams.
