Sales Manager (Crypto Data)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $150,000–$205,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary annual target bonus, performance incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead Data sales for the assigned regional coverage area across the Americas and expand the institutional client base.
• Manage the full sales funnel, including prospecting, qualification, pipeline development, negotiation, and closing.
• Sell and tailor BMR-compliant benchmarks, custom index solutions, and multi-asset real-time and historical APIs to institutional clients.
• Serve as the primary regional client liaison, supporting retention, satisfaction, and customer ROI.
• Collaborate with global sales, product, research, trading, marketing, and legal/compliance teams.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics in Salesforce.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of institutional sales experience in fintech, market data, global finance, or digital assets.
• Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems, market infrastructure, on-chain metrics, and BMR/IOSCO benchmark principles.
• An active network of institutional C-suite executives and financial decision-makers in the assigned region.
• Proven ability to independently source, negotiate, and close complex institutional data or index licensing deals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain quantitative and technical concepts to institutional buyers.
• Proficiency with AI, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and G-Suite; willingness to travel for client meetings and industry conferences.
