Exchange Operations Specialist (Digital Assets)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary annual target bonus, performance incentives, and benefits.

hirify.global is a media, events, indices, and data company serving the global crypto economy; the role supports operations for Bullish, a regulated digital asset exchange.

What you will do

• Optimize exchange operations to ensure fast, reliable trading and high-quality support for institutional clients.
• Support low-latency algorithmic trading paths, infrastructure scaling, recovery processes, and security monitoring for unusual trade activity.
• Connect sales, institutional clients, Product, and Engineering to integrate new products and features into the live trading environment.
• Lead projects that improve and automate client workflows and operational processes while reducing risk and increasing platform scalability.
• Build dashboards and reports correlating technical metrics with business KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to maintain governance and market integrity across exchange activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in trading operations or trade support management within digital assets, fintech, or electronic trading.
• Strong understanding of trading, market structure, and the full order lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting complex cloud-based electronic trading systems, including log analysis and collaboration with engineers.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix command-line environments and Bash scripting for workflow automation and system troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, APIs, market data infrastructure, risk management, digital asset custody, KYC/AML, and cybersecurity best practices.
