Warehouse and Inventory Specialist (Datacenter Hardware)

Location: Carteret, New Jersey, United States

Salary: USD 100,000–150,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Implement inventory tracking methods, audit existing stock, maintain accurate records, and ensure datacenter teams update inventory data.
• Build and automate reorder processes based on inventory thresholds.
• Place vendor orders for new builds, migrations, and reorganizations using engineer-provided Bills of Materials.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipping queues, shipment preparation, tracking, documentation, and import/export paperwork.
• Coordinate warehouse logistics, server build and retrofit requests, staging tasks, and New Jersey server allocations.
• Develop familiarity with international shipping standards and requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on warehouse experience, preferably in the finance or technology sector.
• Experience managing inventory and, ideally, implementing an inventory system.
• Basic understanding of computer and network hardware, including servers, network equipment, and cable types.
• Experience placing orders and working with vendors.
• Familiarity with DCIM systems or willingness to learn and operate one.
• Ability or willingness to operate a pallet lifter and scissor lift as needed.
