Software Engineer (SpaceTech)

Location: Los Angeles, on-site; must be located in the United States

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and release operational dashboards, electronic procedure tools, and specialized software for space missions.
• Develop computation tools for dataset-driven decision-making and autonomous execution.
• Design APIs and integrations for telemetry, command, and control systems.
• Build and deploy production-quality software while rapidly prototyping demos and proof-of-concepts.
• Improve software efficiency, stability, scalability, security, and reliability across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Support QA, user testing, customer discovery, technical demonstrations, and third-party software integrations.

Requirements

• US citizenship and location in the United States are required; future security clearance may be required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and a JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, software design, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.
