Product Quality Engineer (100%) (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Act as the quality interface between R&D Agile Teams, Product Management, Operations, and suppliers before product release.
• Analyze test data, quality KPIs, and field-return issues to influence product requirements, design quality, and reliability.
• Manage product validation according to hirify.global’s Product Creation Process or equivalent APQP methodologies.
• Define, plan, execute, and analyze laboratory validation tests for UPS products.
• Support Design FMEA, Process FMEA, and PPAP activities in cross-functional teams.
• Improve Design for Manufacturing and Design for Testing, with a focus on PCBA production processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Product development experience and at least 5 years of experience in power electronics, preferably in the UPS sector.
• Strong expertise in single-phase and three-phase UPS architecture from 10 kW to 2 MW, including hardware and software.
• Hands-on experience with product validation plans and laboratory test-result analysis.
• Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, PCP/APQP quality tools and methodologies.
• Deep understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and the ability to influence design for testing and manufacturability; fluent or professional-level English is required.
