Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Hybrid; onsite at the Denver or Littleton, Colorado offices according to an agreed schedule. U.S. work authorization is required for ITAR compliance.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 USD base salary annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, vendor maintenance, expense reporting, and reconciliations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop an accounts payable team of five or more direct reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, accruals, vendor accounts, AP aging, payment trends, and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, SOX and internal control requirements, public company reporting standards, and vendor tax filings.
• Improve approval workflows, controls, automation, and operational efficiency in Oracle NetSuite.
• Partner with procurement, treasury, finance, accounting, vendors, and auditors to resolve issues and support audits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including management responsibility.
• Experience working in a large, publicly traded company.
• Experience managing an AP team with at least five direct reports.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong knowledge of AP best practices, internal controls, month-end close, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity, or shared-services environments.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit support.
• Experience with AP automation tools and ERP enhancements.
