Project and Operations Manager

hirify.global is an education technology company that helps regional universities launch and grow online programmes, supporting more than 100 universities and colleges across five countries.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end implementation plans for new university partner and programme launches, including milestones, dependencies, critical paths, readiness criteria, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across hirify.global and university teams, clarifying owners, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Maintain project controls such as project plans, RAID logs, decision logs, status reporting, launch readiness checkpoints, approvals, and handover documentation.
• Drive actions, resolve dependencies, escalate material risks, and coordinate go-live planning with Partnership Directors and Implementation Leads.
• Support partner operations through reporting, documentation, issue resolution, programme scoping, and coordination of operational priorities.
• Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and promote consistent project and operational management practices through templates, guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or workstreams in a matrixed environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Must reside in the United Kingdom.
• Strong operational, analytical, process improvement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners, preferably universities or online programme partners.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or an equivalent qualification is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with change management or transformation initiatives.
• Experience using technology, data tools, or AI-enabled solutions to improve operations and efficiency.
• Experience using data and structured recommendations to influence decisions and create alignment.
• Understanding of the online student lifecycle and its operational links across marketing, enrolment, student support, academic delivery, technology, finance, and compliance.
