TL;DR
Signal Processing Engineer (RF): Building algorithms and real-time analytics that detect, characterize, and identify RF emitters across radar, radio, and electronic warfare systems with an accent on DSP, machine-learning classification, and cross-module data fusion. Focus on designing electronic order-of-battle analytics, transitioning MATLAB/Python prototypes into real-time implementations, and validating performance on simulated and real-world datasets.

What you will do

  • Build signal-processing algorithms to detect, deinterleave, and extract parameters from intercepted RF emissions.
  • Develop feature-based and machine-learning classification pipelines for emitter identification and threat-library matching.
  • Design real-time electronic order-of-battle analytics covering emitters, tracks, and threat posture.
  • Apply machine learning to modulation recognition, anomaly detection, and emitter fingerprinting.
  • Fuse signals from radar, radio, and electronic warfare modules into a unified processing pipeline.
  • Prototype algorithms in MATLAB and Python, transition them to real-time implementations with software and embedded/FPGA engineers, and validate them in laboratory and field conditions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in RF or radar signal processing, ideally involving ELINT, ESM, or SIGINT.
  • Strong knowledge of DSP, including spectral analysis, filtering, multi-rate processing, and statistical or adaptive signal processing.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB, with working knowledge of C/C++ for production implementation.
  • Experience applying machine learning to signal-classification problems.
  • Fluency in English is required. Clear communication across RF hardware, software, and data science disciplines is expected.

Nice to have

  • French language skills.
  • Exposure to ELINT, ESM, or SIGINT applications.
