Pyrotechnics Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the integration of pyrotechnic and military payloads onto drones and interceptor platforms.
• Define mechanical, electrical, and functional interfaces between payloads and airborne vehicles.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Avionics, Systems, and Test teams on system-level integration decisions.
• Plan and execute ground, integration, and qualification tests, including procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, investigate anomalies, drive corrective actions, and support flight-test preparation and post-flight analysis.
• Prepare technical and safety documentation, manage regulatory authorizations, and support field demonstrations and deployments.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in pyrotechnics, aerospace, defense, or a related field.
• Direct experience integrating military or pyrotechnic payloads onto drones, UAVs, missiles, aircraft, or other airborne platforms.
• Experience leading integration, testing, and qualification activities.
• Experience managing technical documentation and regulatory approvals for pyrotechnic or military systems.
• Experience in a safety-critical aerospace or defense environment.
• Strong understanding of pyrotechnic systems, payload integration, safety assessments, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional engineering coordination.
