Product Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

Location: London, hybrid, or UK remote

Salary: £80,000–£95,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Implement product features across the Node.js backend and React frontend using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Build high-performance, data-rich user experiences.
• Contribute to real-time infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Deliver solutions to customer and product problems independently as part of a team.
• Communicate technical ideas and influence stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• Represent Product and Engineering values internally and externally.

Requirements

• Expertise with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience independently delivering solutions to real customer or product problems within a team.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to problem solving and learning.
• Understanding of how high-quality technical work creates excellent user experiences.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK is addressed during the application process.

Nice to have

• Experience building backends with Node.js or frontends with React or a similar framework.
• Open-source contribution experience.
• Experience with data-rich applications or large volumes of real-time data.
• Interest in experimenting with new technologies, tools, and techniques.
