Principal Launch Manager (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid. hirify.global hubs are available in Berlin, London, and Tallinn, with remote work across Europe depending on the role.

hirify.global provides an Investment API that enables fintechs and financial institutions to offer investment products and retirement-planning services.

What you will do

• Lead complex, end-to-end launch programs for established banks, from scoping and implementation through migration where applicable.
• Own or support custody asset migrations, including equities, ETFs, and mutual funds, from incumbent custodians to hirify.global.
• Lead and standardize securities integration and migration projects for investment products built on the hirify.global API.
• Coordinate Engineering, Product, Operations, Compliance, legal, and technology workstreams while managing scope, timeline, risks, and trade-offs.
• Run steering committees with senior client and hirify.global stakeholders, establish decisions, and communicate progress and risks clearly.
• Build repeatable enterprise launch and migration practices, improve tools and processes, and mentor Launch Managers.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex, multi-entity programs for tier-one banks or large financial institutions, ideally in custody, brokerage, post-trade, or securities operations.
• Expertise in end-to-end project management, large-scale planning and execution, risk mitigation, and aligning technical and business requirements.
• Deep knowledge of post-trade and custody processes, including settlement, corporate actions, reconciliations, tax and cost basis, and reporting.
• Experience with in-specie or on-book transfers, large-scale data and asset migrations, reconciliation at scale, structured cutovers, dry-runs, and rollback planning.
• Knowledge of regulatory and risk requirements such as MiFID II, CSDR, AML/KYC, outsourcing guidelines, and standards including SWIFT MT/MX and ISO 20022.
• Fluent English and German, written and verbal, are required.
