Software Delivery Manager (Broadcast Media)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with an agreed split between office and home

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of software products and technology initiatives across Agile Scrum teams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support sustainable delivery, and coach teams in continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Managers to turn strategic roadmaps into delivery plans, sprint plans, and release plans.
• Track milestones, commitments, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery governance.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple squads and ensure operational readiness for production deployments.
• Monitor delivery metrics including predictability, velocity, lead time, cycle time, deployment frequency, defect rates, and team health.

Requirements

• Significant experience delivering software products in Agile Scrum environments and managing multiple delivery teams simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean delivery principles.
• Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Business Analysis, and business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, risk, dependency, and prioritisation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub, and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience supporting broadcast and VOD services, applications, vendors, and broadcast media supply chains.

Nice to have

• Experience in broadcasting, media, streaming, or digital content organisations.
• Knowledge of media workflows, content supply chains, broadcast operations, digital asset management, VOD, linear playout, workflow management, or scheduling solutions.
• Experience delivering cloud-native platforms with AWS and knowledge of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Scrum Master, AgilePM, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
