Location: Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland; on-site at Dublin Airport with 24/7 shift coverage on 12-hour shifts.

What you will do

  • Lead a team of craft technicians responsible for airfield electrical maintenance and operational asset availability.
  • Monitor and maintain airfield and campus systems in line with Aerodrome, NSAI, EASA, and ICAO requirements.
  • Coordinate schedules, attendance, leave, performance discussions, quality assurance, health and safety, and team development.
  • Lead critical asset inspections, health checks, KPI monitoring, shift reporting, and CMMS records using Maximo, GIS, and related systems.
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and supervise maintenance contractors working on Dublin Airport assets.
  • Support emergency operations, including disabled aircraft recovery, boundary fence repairs, snow clearing, and contractor escorting.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of post-apprenticeship electrical experience and an Advanced Certificate – Craft, Level 6 on Ireland’s National Framework of Qualifications.
  • Full clean driver’s licence.
  • Experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment and understanding of EASA-compliant standards.
  • Technical familiarity with airfield operations, AGL series circuits, constant current regulators, AVDGS, HMLs, PLC control systems, or SCADA systems.
  • Experience with Maximo or other computerised maintenance management systems, Microsoft Office, reporting, planning, and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and safety-awareness skills.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience acting as a Team Lead or in a step-up capacity.
  • Experience in people management.
