Part 21 Design Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Produce EASA Part 21J design documents that comply with airworthiness and environmental protection requirements.
• Compile accomplishment instructions, engineering drawings, compliance reports, and instructions for continued airworthiness.
• Liaise with Compliance Verification Engineers to support demonstrations of compliance.
• Manage design-change projects from initiation through delivery.

Requirements

• Sound working knowledge of Part 21 Design and applicable EASA aviation regulations.
• Technical degree such as B.Eng or B.Sc, EASA Part 66 qualification, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence, or equivalent.
• Advanced skills with CAD tools, Microsoft Office, and relevant proprietary software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to guide engineering processes to completion and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Part 21J Design Organisation, Airline Technical Services, or Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
• Experience supporting leasing companies or airlines in engineering or technical services.
• Experience producing EASA-approved design documents and demonstrating airworthiness or environmental protection compliance.
• Experience managing design changes and liaising with Compliance Verification Engineers.
