Finance Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: On-site in Breda, Netherlands. Candidates must already hold a permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands.

Salary: €3,000–€5,000 per month.

What you will do

• Handle day-to-day activities across accounting, billing, and accounts payable as workload shifts.
• Support reconciliations and financial controls, including checks on third-party funds.
• Provide cross-process coverage for finance colleagues instead of owning only one process.
• Build knowledge across the Finance Operations function and grow into a broader generalist role.
• Use AI tools to improve workflows, experiment with automation, and share effective practices.

Requirements

• A few years of relevant experience in a finance department, such as accounting, billing, or accounts payable.
• Willingness to work across multiple finance processes rather than specialize in one area.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Prior exposure to reconciliations or financial controls is advantageous.
• Fluent English is required.
• Permanent work and residence authorization in the Netherlands is required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Curiosity about AI and experience experimenting with current AI models or products.
