Senior Team, Delivery and Engineering Manager

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: negotiable base salary starting from €2,700 gross per month, plus variable pay and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering teams while supporting growth, hiring, and talent development.
• Guide architecture and engineering decisions and oversee complex technical solutions.
• Own delivery outcomes by improving predictability, removing blockers, and supporting on-time delivery.
• Strengthen engineering quality, reliability, security, and sustainable delivery practices.
• Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to align priorities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support strategy, operational execution, financial priorities, and continuous improvement across the area.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with credibility among engineers, technical leaders, and business stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, developing, and growing high-performing teams.
• Solid architectural understanding and a pragmatic approach to technical quality and simplicity.
• Ability to challenge unrealistic business expectations and over-engineered technical solutions.
• Strategic thinking, ownership, change leadership, conflict management, and clear communication.
• Ability to balance technical, people, operational, and financial priorities in a complex environment.
