Senior UX/UI Designer

What you will do

• Own design quality and user experience outcomes from discovery through delivery across complex client projects and multiple product surfaces.
• Plan, facilitate, and synthesize user research, translating findings into actionable design strategy and direction.
• Create, document, and govern scalable design-system components and contribute to cross-project component standards.
• Lead design reviews, identify UX risks early, estimate design work, and contribute to project scoping and timelines.
• Facilitate technical and consultative client conversations and align design decisions with business and client outcomes.
• Serve as a Design Lead when needed and mentor junior and mid-level designers through critique, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with a portfolio showing complex, production-level work.
• Experience independently conducting interviews, usability testing, research synthesis, and design strategy.
• Deep proficiency in Figma, prototyping, handoff documentation, and design specifications for engineering.
• Hands-on experience building or contributing to design systems, including component governance and documentation.
• Ability to independently lead technical and consultative client conversations and connect design decisions to business outcomes.
• Experience mentoring designers, estimating work accurately, and collaborating on project-level scoping.

Nice to have

• Experience in a digital agency or client-services environment across multiple simultaneous engagements.
• Familiarity with WordPress, open-source ecosystems, or headless CMS architectures.
• Previous Design Lead or project-level team lead experience on multi-designer engagements.
• Background in design operations, design strategy, or research-led product strategy.
• Experience with distributed or remote-first engineering and product teams across time zones.
