HVAC Chiller Technician - Journeyman

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

Hourly base pay: $60.00 per hour

What you will do

• Service, assemble, inspect, and repair 50-ton to 4000-ton chillers and DX units.
• Diagnose equipment and system issues, troubleshoot failures, and complete repairs at customer locations.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, replacements, and system modifications.
• Test chillers, perform point-to-point testing, start up and commission equipment, and provide ongoing service.
• Use service software, hand tools, blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical documentation.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers while working shifts, overtime, and on call as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate from an accredited technical school.
• Five or more years of HVAC experience preferred; technical school or formal training preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required.
