Senior Credit Underwriter (Equipment Finance)

Salary: $41.62–$69.36 per hour

What you will do

• Evaluate credit risks for larger and more complex equipment finance loans and leases.
• Review financial information, analyze cash flow and industries, value collateral, and assess annual debt-service repayment capacity.
• Make loan and lease decisions within assigned authority and request additional information when needed.
• Prepare detailed credit write-ups, present findings, provide creditworthiness opinions, and assign overall risk ratings.
• Monitor compliance with credit policy and escalate risk-related issues to management.
• Maintain internal control standards and address audit and regulatory findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related work experience, or at least 7 years of combined higher education and work experience including 3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software programs.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, policy, and internal control standards.
