Sr Commercial Portfolio Manager - Huntington Technology Finance (Underwriter)

Location: Minnetonka, MN; office-based at a Huntington corporate office

Salary: $70,000–$154,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex and large credit requests for prospects and commercial clients.
• Evaluate financial statements, projections, business plans, industry dynamics, competitive conditions, and macroeconomic factors.
• Own credit monitoring and portfolio risk management, including risk identification, mitigation, remediation, and risk-rating integrity.
• Manage portfolio administration, underwriting quality, regulatory compliance, and financial statement spreading.
• Work with Sales Representatives, Team Leaders, and Regional Credit Officers to service and retain profitable customer relationships.
• Mentor Credit Analysts and junior-level Portfolio Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, investment, and commercial banking solutions, market trends, and business drivers.
• Ability to identify and mitigate credit risks while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Cash flow analysis experience for large, complex publicly traded companies.
• Experience with Moody’s spreading software and equipment finance underwriting.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office desktop applications.
• RMA-CRC or CLFP designation.
