Product Manager II (AI)

hirify.global is presenting this opportunity on behalf of a partner company developing data and reporting solutions for healthcare organizations, pharmacies, government agencies, and other regulated stakeholders.

What you will do

• Own discovery, prioritization, definition, delivery, and customer adoption for reporting and data product initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in controlled substance products, datasets, reporting capabilities, customer workflows, and the regulatory landscape.
• Use SQL, Tableau, and analytical tools to investigate complex data questions, identify customer needs, validate assumptions, and inform product strategy.
• Collaborate with customers, engineering, analytics, business, and customer-facing teams to define scalable solutions, clarify scope, and manage roadmap tradeoffs.
• Shape data governance, metadata, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities, including use cases, data requirements, governance considerations, and success metrics.
• Create product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and user guides; support user acceptance testing and validate delivered solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, business, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, product analytics, data analysis, or a related field with increasing ownership.
• Advanced SQL skills for independently querying and analyzing large, complex datasets.
• Strong Tableau skills, including dashboard development, data visualization, and analytical storytelling.
• Experience translating business needs and data insights into product recommendations, requirements, technical solutions, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment such as healthcare, government, insurance, or financial services; experience with healthcare, pharmacy, public health, claims, controlled substance, or comparable datasets is strongly valued.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data quality, reporting standards, Agile product development, Jira, and Confluence.
• Effective communication, independent ownership, problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to master complex subject matter quickly.
• Active use of AI-supported tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for research, analysis, drafting, documentation, and product execution.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment and travel periodically for work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, healthcare regulations, or state government technology programs.
• Experience using Python or other analytical tools.
