Field Water Treatment Supervisor (Water Treatment)

Location: Customer and project sites; field-based role requiring 90% or more travel, including extended deployments.

Salary: $19.95–$64.09 per hour

What you will do

• Lead site assessments, installation planning, equipment installation, commissioning, and customer handoffs for mobile water treatment systems.
• Operate high-purity water treatment equipment and monitor TDS, pH, flow rates, water quality, system controls, and chemical dosing.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and process-related failures, escalating complex issues to engineering or OEM support.
• Perform preventive maintenance, track service intervals, document parts and findings, and maintain field equipment.
• Collect operating data, maintain field logs, report out-of-specification conditions, and document corrective actions.
• Train site personnel, client operators, and junior technicians while developing SOPs and sharing operational best practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating or maintaining water treatment systems, including solids removal, media, resin, RO, DI, or similar systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of water chemistry principles and water quality standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and process systems in field environments, with accurate documentation habits.
• Ability and willingness to travel 90% or more, including extended deployments.
• Valid driver's license, English sufficient to understand safety training and respond to emergency instructions, and knowledge of emergency equipment; OSHA certification and RCRA certificates may be required.
