🚀 APERCON is hiring a Chief Legal Officer for an international group operating in a high-risk industry.
This is a strategic C-level role covering the full legal and regulatory agenda — from licensing and corporate structure to M&A and compliance — with direct exposure to shareholders and group leadership 🌍

🧲 Requirements:
– 7+ years in legal roles, incl. 2-3+ years as CLO/General Counsel or similar senior leadership position
– Proven background in iGaming industry
– Experience with multi-jurisdictional licensing and regulatory engagement
– Track record building and leading legal teams
– Strong background in M&A, corporate structuring, and contract management; tax structuring experience is a plus
– Familiarity with AML/KYC/KYB frameworks and player protection regulation
– Fluent English;

🛠 Key Responsibilities:
– Define and execute the legal function's long-term strategy aligned with business growth
– Act as primary legal advisor to the board and shareholders
– Own global licensing strategy and regulatory relationships across multiple jurisdictions
– Lead corporate structuring and support M&A activity end-to-end
– Oversee contract management, IP protection, and commercial legal support
– Build and lead a high-performing legal team with clear KPIs
– Establish compliance, AML, and risk management frameworks
