Product Compliance Analyst (iGaming)

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne office, Australia

What you will do

• Document and maintain compliance controls across registration, KYC, payments and gaming customer flows.
• Translate regulatory obligations into practical requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Support market entry compliance reviews, regulatory sign-off evidence packages, data retention and reporting documentation.
• Support KYC refresh programmes, AML screening and transaction monitoring activities.
• Research jurisdiction-specific AML record-keeping obligations and coordinate compliance input for new market launches.
• Gather requirements for third-party compliance tools and support data migration and tool integrations.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a second-line compliance oversight role, ideally in online gaming or another regulated industry.
• Experience working across multiple departments and jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of the three lines of defence model.
• Ability to influence, challenge and engage senior stakeholders credibly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-level reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to extract information from dense documentation while working with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance software such as Vanta.
• Experience working with regulators across multiple jurisdictions.
• Background as a Business Analyst or Product Manager with an understanding of granular business logic.
• Exposure to AML/CTF, responsible gambling or advertising frameworks.
• Professional qualification in compliance, risk, law or governance.
