Principal Software Development Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Base salary: €80,000–€120,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the architecture of the dashboard platform and the company-wide design system.
• Provide technical depth to de-risk high-impact initiatives within the Global Growth group.
• Act as a technical multiplier across multiple engineering teams while remaining hands-on with complex technical problems.
• Set technical direction, make architectural decisions, and balance immediate delivery needs with long-term flexibility.
• Collaborate with engineering managers, Principal Engineers, senior stakeholders, and executives.

Requirements

• Full-stack engineering background with deep front-end architecture experience and strong hands-on back-end expertise.
• Experience operating as a senior technical leader across multiple teams.
• Track record of setting direction, mentoring engineers, and earning the trust of technical and senior stakeholders.
• Strong systems-thinking and pragmatic decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and present data-driven strategies to executives.
