What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of small-business loan and deposit relationships.
• Develop new banking relationships and service existing business banking clients.
• Evaluate credit information and loan requests, recommend loan structures, and manage risk.
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
• Work with branch partners and referral sources to cross-sell cash management, merchant services, trade services, and other bank products.
• Manage complex loan relationships and approximately 30 to 65 relationship-managed clients while meeting sales and call targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong credit skills for evaluating loan requests and managing risk.
• Knowledge of business banking products, including cash management, merchant services, and trade services.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
