Team Lead - Finishing (Manufacturing)

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; on-site production role, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift

Salary: $56,000–$77,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate, schedule, and direct team members while assigning tasks and developing work schedules.
• Resolve equipment, process, and compliance issues as the main troubleshooting contact.
• Generate and review process documentation and investigate process problems.
• Support process and equipment validation, quantitative process-performance analysis, and new process transfers.
• Represent the department in cross-functional and continuous improvement teams and assign project work.
• Train and mentor team members while monitoring training activities.

Requirements

• Must not be allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs.
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience required; a bachelor's degree may reduce the experience requirement.
• Leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Proficiency with mathematics, metric and U.S. measurement standards, quantitative analysis, production equipment, and enterprise software.
• In-depth knowledge of related manufacturing techniques and specialties.
• Must meet local physical requirements, have required near-vision acuity, and not be colorblind.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures.
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
