Field Service Technician (Fuel Cell Systems)

Location: Visalia, California, United States; onsite at a customer location

Pay rate: $24.50–$28.50 per hour

hirify.global develops and services fuel cell products for electric lift trucks and related hydrogen systems.

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cell systems installed in electric lift trucks at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, evaluations, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
• Complete field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support as required.
• Order parts and tools, maintain inventory, and complete incident reports, service logs, and site documentation.
• Communicate with customer personnel, hydrogen suppliers, and regional service representatives while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and work independently.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to provide a standard personal set of tools; specialized fuel cell tools are provided by hirify.global.
