Pipeline Branch Manager - Western MD Region (Frederick MD and Hagerstown MD)

Location: Onsite at a Western Maryland branch location in Hagerstown or Frederick, Maryland, United States

Salary: $62,200–$120,300 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage branch operations, customer and employee experience, digital engagement, servicing, transactions, sales, and profitability.
• Lead, coach, develop, and manage branch staff, including hiring, performance reviews, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations.
• Direct sales and business development activities, grow Retail and Business Banking relationships, and build the bank’s community presence.
• Identify customer needs and recommend short- and long-term banking solutions, products, and services.
• Own complex account servicing, error resolution, customer issues, and escalations through final resolution.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and maintain compliance, security, audit, and operational risk standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to coach exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and collaborate across the organization.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet, and email; required insurance licensing and M&T Business Banking Specialist certification must be completed within 18 months of hire where applicable.
