TL;DR
Service Coordinator (HVAC): Planning and coordinating service agreements, repair work, personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment with an accent on customer communication, field technician dispatch, and operational resource control. Focus on scheduling HVAC and Controls Technicians, coordinating parts and acquisition activities, maintaining customer satisfaction, and generating work orders and project reports.
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to choose the work location on Fridays based on business needs.
Annual base salary: $33,400.00–$61,179.99; exception hourly compensation.

What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, control, and direct operational resources for service agreements and repair work.
- Dispatch and assign Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians based on project needs, skills, and availability.
- Schedule personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, HVAC Field Technician Supervisors, Parts, and Acquisition teams.
- Investigate customer concerns, route them to the appropriate staff, and respond to special requests.
- Generate work orders, review and forward project paperwork, and prepare reports.
Requirements
- College or technical school certificate/degree with one year of related experience and/or training, or three years of related experience and/or training with a high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence communicating by phone.
- Strong organization, multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems, and/or Temperature Controls.
- Practical experience and relevant skills in place of a four-year degree.
