Senior Software Developer (.NET)

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; hybrid with 10+ days per month in the office

What you will do

• Build and scale the Liquidity Management platform that provides real-time visibility into cash and liquidity across banks, accounts, currencies, and legal entities.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud solutions using Azure services.
• Develop and maintain production-ready applications with unit, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Implement observability for application insights, performance analysis, usage data, and proactive issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and improve team practices and technology choices.
• Participate in the you-build-it-you-run-it model, including the on-call pager rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of application development experience.
• Strong experience with modern application development, cloud architecture, and deployment practices.
• Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Deep knowledge of .NET and C#.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience mentoring developers and working in an agile development environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, treasury systems, payments, FX, ERP, or financial platforms.
• Understanding of high-volume transactional processing architectures.
