Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/React/Microservices)

Location: Seattle, WA; hybrid work

Annual salary: $105,000–$215,000

What you will do

• Scope, design, and build scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Develop and maintain Java applications and reusable application components across the software development lifecycle.
• Work across React frontends, middleware, backend systems, databases, and cloud services.
• Lead design sessions and code reviews while contributing to architecture, reliability, and scaling decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and share engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience with Java frameworks, J2EE, web containers, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Svelte.
• Experience with at least one backend language such as Java, C++, or C#, plus architecture and design of new and existing systems.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, XML, JSON, microservices architecture, and extensible REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud services, including Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure DevOps, DevOps concepts, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking, load balancers, reverse proxies, firewalls, DNS, monitoring, security protocols, and authentication systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
