Manager Data Management (Data Risk)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Support data risk initiatives by analyzing data flows and documenting data lineage.
• Identify data risk indicators and contribute to assessments of data risk exposure.
• Translate analyses and findings into reporting, metrics, dashboards, and action tracking.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand data usage across processes.
• Support prioritization and remediation of data risk issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, data governance, data quality, data risk, data engineering, or reporting.
• Experience supporting data risk, data quality, data governance, or data management activities.
• Working knowledge of data lineage and data flows, including sourcing, transformation, and consumption across systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata, and data management practices; basic SQL, data structures, or analytical tools are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in data management, analytics, information systems, computer science, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Exposure to project delivery, agile methods, change management, Jira, or similar work-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with financial services, risk management, or regulated environments.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
