Enterprise Data Analyst Senior

What you will do

• Identify authoritative data sources and accurate data fields by querying SQL platforms.
• Wrangle complex data sets with SQL and Python and connect data assets across platforms and formats.
• Document data flows, mappings, specifications, and enterprise-level data solutions for multiple business use cases.
• Create and execute end-to-end test plans and scripts for complex data products and user stories.
• Translate business data needs into source-to-target mappings and sample data mock-ups for data engineers.
• Conduct root-cause and impact analysis, triage defects, and communicate data-flow recommendations and limitations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or a qualifying combination of higher education and work experience with at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience pulling data from SQL platforms and querying data modeled in formats such as slowly changing dimensions, snapshots, key-value pairs, normalized tables, and wide tables.
• Experience completing user acceptance testing for data products.
• Knowledge of data management, data cataloging, and data lineage tools.
• Experience developing source-to-target mappings for full data loads and change data capture formats.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, internal-control, data-policy, and audit requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced SQL and data-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams and mentoring analysts.
• Experience with data governance tools, data classification, privacy, statistics, and data science techniques.
