Sr Cyber Security Engineer

What you will do

• Deploy, operate, and maintain security platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Provide security configuration and operational guidance to business and technology stakeholders.
• Monitor security tools and threat activity, investigating anomalies with Cyber Defense teams.
• Evaluate security capabilities against business requirements, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Document security configurations, integrations, and logical dependencies across the environment.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and support security engineering initiatives and operational improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant information security experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience in security intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Experience with log aggregation, data ingestion, security telemetry, endpoint, network, infrastructure, and cloud security technologies.
• Ability to engineer, implement, and manage technical security solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with Python or PowerShell for security automation, analysis, integrations, or operational processes.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Cribl.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, AZ-500, or SANS.
