Senior Analyst, Financial Systems Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL may be required. Primary sourcing hubs include Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas. If sourcing is extended, candidates must be located in Florida, Georgia, Texas, or North Carolina.

What you will do

• Lead advanced monitoring and analysis of security alerts and logs affecting financial systems.
• Investigate complex security events and incidents, perform root-cause analysis, assess impact, and coordinate remediation.
• Conduct security risk assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend risk-based remediation strategies.
• Advise on secure design and configuration during application, integration, and infrastructure implementations.
• Support ITGC and SOX control execution, internal and external audits, walkthroughs, evidence collection, and remediation discussions.
• Improve security standards, procedures, monitoring, reporting, and operational practices while supporting team knowledge development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, security operations, IT audit, or financial systems compliance.
• Experience managing security initiatives and regulatory assessments.
• Knowledge of security and regulatory standards, financial systems, and security tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be located in the United States; regular travel to the Miami headquarters may be required.

• Professional certification such as GIFS, CISM, CEH, or SSCP.
