CISO (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, information assurance, and security operations for the Army Endpoint Security Solution.
• Advise the Program Manager, customer stakeholders, and internal leadership on cybersecurity risk, compliance, incident response, and mission assurance.
• Oversee SOC activities including monitoring, alert triage, incident response, threat hunting, detection engineering, SIEM/EDR operations, and security reporting.
• Lead RMF support, control documentation, evidence collection, assessment readiness, POA&M management, continuous monitoring, and security authorization activities.
• Oversee vulnerability management, ACAS scanning, STIG compliance, remediation tracking, and security posture reporting across infrastructure and applications.
• Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, network, identity, cloud, service desk, compliance, and operations teams while mentoring security personnel.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of cybersecurity experience, including demonstrated experience supporting Department of Defense environments.
• Senior cybersecurity leadership, information assurance, security operations, security architecture, or cyber risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, DoD cybersecurity requirements, DISA STIGs, POA&M management, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• CISSP or CISM and ITIL certification required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
• Experience with ACAS, Nessus, SCAP, STIG Viewer, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, ticketing, and enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Experience with DoD authorization activities, audits, inspections, readiness reviews, or assessment events.
• Familiarity with DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 workforce requirements.
• Experience in an MSP, MSSP, or multi-customer government service delivery environment.
