Information/Data Scientist (Clinical Data)

hirify.global Health is rebuilding the clinical research ecosystem through infrastructure that improves trial efficiency and expands patient access to clinical trials.

What you will do

• Perform source-to-target mappings between incoming healthcare data, including EHR data, and the platform data model.
• Help develop scalable models to automate data mapping.
• Evaluate and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Develop and extend ontologies, terminology libraries, vocabularies, and data standards.
• Evaluate informatics tools, databases, and content sources to improve the product experience.
• Perform quality-control checks, query regulatory-grade data, and contribute to data architectures, algorithms, and analysis workflows.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in bioinformatics, clinical data science, or a related field.
• Experience with biomarker or genomic ontologies and terminologies.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminologies such as ICD, SNOMED, and LOINC.
• Experience evaluating and ensuring data quality, including completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and a high-integrity work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience with oncology research or clinical genomic applications.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other data science tools and programming languages.
