Forward Deployed Engineers (Fullstack)

Location: NYC preferred; excellent candidates can work remotely.

What you will do

• Partner directly with clinics and provider groups to understand workflows, constraints, and goals.
• Ask clarifying questions and convert ambiguous client needs into buildable technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications and implement customer-facing solutions end to end across the stack.
• Deploy, support, and iterate on solutions in live clinical environments.
• Identify recurring client needs and feed reusable patterns back into the core product.
• Represent the company in technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or strong demonstrated evidence of engineering ability.
• Full-stack capability beyond JavaScript and TypeScript, including experience with higher-level software libraries.
• Impressive portfolio; a link is required before the skills interview.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
• Ability to independently understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Fast learning ability and comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities; 1–2 years is acceptable for an exceptional learner, while 2–5 years is also welcome.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with LiveKit, Twilio, or the OpenAI API.
• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated environment.
