Principal Medtech Architect (AI)

Location: Boston or remote within the United States. The role requires an eligible work permit in the USA. Remote employees should expect 4–5 in-person company or team on-sites per year; Boston-based employees may choose how often to visit the office.

What you will do

• Own strategic AI build partnerships across discovery, executive workshops, solution delivery, validation, and handoff.
• Identify high-value medtech workflows and create prioritized AI use-case portfolios with customer leaders.
• Recommend engagement models including in-surface enrichment, callable tools, bespoke skills, and insight-to-action workflows.
• Define business cases, ROI assumptions, success metrics, and validation approaches for AI solutions.
• Translate customer needs into scoped solutions and multi-workstream delivery plans while partnering with Product, Engineering, Program Management, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Mentor Medtech Architects and shape hirify.global’s AI-in-medtech product-market narrative.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience across medtech, healthcare technology, enterprise SaaS, AI services, or adjacent fields.
• Strong medtech domain credibility and the ability to work with commercial, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
• Experience leading strategic enterprise customer engagements and delivering complex technical solutions.
• Experience delivering AI products, AI-enabled services, or custom AI solutions for customers.
• Executive presence with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, and other senior customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrated solution architecture, delivery leadership, commercial judgment, communication, and cross-functional leadership.

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS, or clinical degree.
• Forward Deployed experience at an AI, data, or enterprise software platform company.
• Published thought leadership at the intersection of medtech and AI.
