Accounting Operations Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel to Staples, Minnesota for meetings, professional development, or team activities up to two or three times per year.

Salary: $86,560–$108,200 annual salary range.

What you will do

• Review and approve expense reports and accounts payable transactions.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer records and prepare customer invoices.
• Process annual 1099 reporting and support reliable accounting operations.
• Identify aged debt, manage the dunning process, and resolve complex payment issues with external customers or partners.
• Analyze accounting problems, prepare reports, and recommend technical or professional solutions.
• Identify policy or regulatory noncompliance, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least three years of demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, or a related analyst role.
• Ability to apply accounting policies, internal controls, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and summarize financial data.
• Availability to work remotely and travel to Staples, Minnesota two to three times per year when requested.
