Head of Workplace (AI)

Location: In-office in San Francisco or New York City; the role supports office operations and expansions across the US and Europe.

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting the vision and scalable processes for global office operations.
• Drive real estate strategy, including lease negotiations, broker and vendor management, build-outs, and office openings.
• Manage workplace budgets and optimize spending across real estate, operations, and vendors.
• Maintain high standards for office safety, compliance, operational excellence, and employee experience.
• Partner with People, Finance, IT, and executive leadership to plan for growth and deliver effective work environments.
• Build programs and policies that create a consistent workplace experience across locations.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, ideally in a high-growth startup or technology company.
• Proven experience leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.
• Expertise in vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.
• Strong people leadership and experience building and scaling teams.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Experience working across US and European geographies.
