Senior Hydraulics Engineer (Mobile Machinery)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year

What you will do

• Develop and validate hydraulic components and system solutions for new product introduction programs.
• Lead component development from concept design through prototype development, pilot production, testing, validation, and production.
• Evaluate hydraulic products, technologies, designs, costs, and performance improvements.
• Support continuous product improvement, field issue resolution, and assurance of supply initiatives.
• Coordinate APQP activities and manage project timelines across system, validation, product, procurement, and supplier teams.
• Drive common hydraulic solutions across the global organization and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience developing hydraulic components or systems for mobile machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic valves, pumps, or motors used in brake, transmission, fan, steering, or implement systems.
• Ability to design and develop products from concept through production, analyze root causes, and solve technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
